We neglect some of the things that God reveals to some of us, and do so at our own peril. The generation that lived during the time of Noah neglected his pointing in a direction at their own peril. Noah was talking complete nonsense to the minds of men, but they had to ask this one question: “Why does this man not stop?”
God has given Kobus the revelation of Tabernacles 35 years ago, and he is ready to continue obediently, with or without popular support. This same sound, the same thing that he has seen and heard is presently resonating in other parts of the world; maybe in different chords, but the same song. Others may call it the third day, but the third day is the third feast. Feast one, Passover; feast two, Pentecost; feast three, Tabernacles. The apostolic is the third dimension. The dominant feast is Tabernacles, because it is the consummation of the three. Passover needed to be upgraded with Pentecost and Pentecost needed to be upgraded with Tabernacles. For Thine is the Kingdom (Passover), the power (Pentecost) and the glory (Tabernacles). It is in the glory that we meet the Lord. The glory He talks about is the very nature, character, the very representation of the fullness of what God is.
God works within His pattern. God does not respond to every prayer. He responds to His pattern (Josh. 5:13-14). God does not exist for your project, but you exist for His agenda. The feast of Tabernacles is His pattern. We are dealing with “towards the full stature” which means towards the fullness, which is Tabernacles. There was a preparation towards Pentecost, they had to restore the pattern that would make God inhabit, that would make Pentecost come amongst them and find them ready to be inhabited by the Lord.
Jesus was crucified exactly on Passover day, at the time when the high priest was busy in the temple with the sacrifices and once year atonement for Israel. At this exact time Jesus was crucified according to pattern. This is why it is so dangerous to be uninformed about seasons. Do not carry on in your own life with stuff that has expired.
When Jesus was baptized by John, Jesus said; “Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.”(Matt. 3:15). Jesus knew that He could not move into the next dimension unless He complied with the pattern. When Jesus came out of the water, came out of fulfilling the pattern, He prayed and the heavens opened. The heavens opened not because He prayed but because He fulfilled the pattern. That is why when it comes to apostolic order in the church; “they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). How can you pray if you do not know the pattern? You have to pray in response to the pattern.
The priority order of the apostles, was that they would hear what the Lord was saying, so they needed to pray first. Then the Lord gives them the pattern and when they have the pattern, they now come with a word of the pattern from the Lord, and then they bring it to the Church. The church needs to hear the pattern, then fellowship according to pattern, then break bread according to pattern and then pray according to pattern.
“Now the LORD said to Aaron, ‘Go to meet Moses in the wilderness.’ So he went and met him at the mountain of God and kissed him. Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD with which He had sent him, and all the signs that He had commanded him to do”( Ex. 4:27 -28.) The Lord spoke to Moses, Moses spoke to Aaron saying, ‘Thus Sayeth the Lord.’ Aaron spoke as a prophet after hearing God’s pattern from Moses.
We must come to a place and a time whereby your mind is now the mind of Christ.
“Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father”(Col 3:16 )
The feast of Tabernacles is a feast of God’s governmental perfection. “The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.'” (Ps. 110:1-2). This will be fulfilled through the Church. This is what this feast is about. All things ungodly are supposed to come under our feet. Then His Kingdom will be manifested out of Zion.
