Series: God Is Love; First Love; Agreement

The Creator of the universe requires that we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:23-24). That can only happen when it comes from a heart full of AGAPE love, divine love. The very foundation of the universe is love, because God is Love.

For many people prayers have become vain repetitions. Jesus said: “But if you live in life-union with me and if my words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire, and it will be done” (Jn. 15:7 TPT). Living in life-union with a God who is Love! May this grip you! We have to come into life-union with God and His Words are to live powerfully within us. Then whatever we ask shall be given to us. That is the kind of agreement that we are referring to. This means we must abide in Him and that involves an intimate relationship with God! Come into a place of intimacy with God. I know life is busy, there are a lot of pressures, stresses and anxieties, but we have to press through into a place of intimate relationship with God. When His words abide in us then it will be done to us when we pray. Why will it be done then? His Words become a part of our consciousness and when that is the case, then we are on same frequency as God is. We have to get into the same frequency with God who is Love.

It is the sincere quest of every Christian to know about the “end-times”. Most Christians are waiting for something to happen, while God, who is Love, is waiting for us! True faith comes when we are on the same frequency as the God who is Love. His Word is in my spirit and I am asking what God desires me to ask. Prayer can be ineffective if it is only vain repetitions. We need to reach a certain frequency that is the corporate frequency. What happens when there is a certain frequency and that begins to impact the natural, the physical? Quantum prayer talks about a certain quantity of energy that vibrates on the same frequency as the God who is Love. Then things begin to happen. Quantum prayer is released when we have a conscious, accurate faith that is confidently directed towards God Himself. When that is the case there is the assurance that God will answer. When your prayer reaches that vibration, that frequency of faith, you then have the assurance that what you ask for is going to happen. When you’re placed into the Anointed One and joined to him, circumcision and religious obligations can benefit you nothing. All that matters now is living in the faith that is activated and brought to perfection by love (Gal. 5:6 TPT). Michael-David says “That is why when we are immersed in His love, the motive for all our prayers is transformed to His frequency. When you are tuned into the frequency of His love, you have encountered the frequency of the supernatural”. When you are on the frequency of God’s love, you have tapped into the supernatural. It is actually very simple yet the human mind does not know how to get there, but by the grace of God and by His Spirit we will get there!

Resonance happens when a connection occurs between the source and a target which are vibrating at the same frequency. Sonic and infra-sonic weapons exist. Science tells us that infrasound weaponized with high enough intensity can cause vibrations to structures at the atomic level. I want you to see the power of agreement, reaching a certain vibration of sound. Togetherness, like soldiers marching in perfect harmony over a bridge, releases a frequency that causes a certain vibration, and it can cause that structure to collapse! Read the story of the conquest of Jericho. Jericho was tightly shut because of the sons of Israel. It was surrounded by a high wall, wide enough to have houses on top of it. No one went out and no one came in because they knew that the Israelites were in the area (Josh. 6:1-10). We know the story. AS they were marching around the city as instructed by God, a certain frequency was released. But in this case, it was a frequency of the supernatural, and the walls came down! God alone knows what role the natural activities played to release that, because there was the assurance in Joshua’s heart that whatever God said would happen. Joshua was a man of faith.

Look at Abraham and Isaac, a story well known to all of us. He was told to take his only son and offer him as a sacrifice. I want you to see something in Abraham that we can and should take for ourselves (Gen. 22:1-14). Abraham is clearly known in the Scriptures as the father of the faith. He is the man who demonstrated true faith. His faith was so secure that he had the assurance that when God asked him to sacrifice his only son, who was given to him miraculously by God, that He obeyed God! So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him and Isaac his son; and he split wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him (Gen. 22:3). God specifically told him where to go and to which mountain. Not incidentally, the mountain where God told him to go was the same mountain on which Jesus was crucified. There is a type and shadow there. The wood for the sacrifice was put on Isaac’s back; his son had to carry the wood on which he was going to be sacrificed. This reminds us of Jesus who had to carry the Cross on His own back, on which He was going to die. “Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go over there; and we will worship and return to you.” (Gen.22:5). Why is this? There was a love in the heart of Abraham for the God he served. Abraham knew deep inside that God had a plan but he had to obey God (Heb. 11:17-19). Abraham loved his son. Abraham was not merely acting; he was going to kill his son and an angel had to stop him. Then God said to him, “For now I know that you fear God, since you have not withheld your son, your only son, from Me” (Gen. 22:12). Obedience to God is of the utmost importance!

From this, I gather this very simple but important key: God is looking for a people whose intention is to get into agreement with His plans and purposes. We want to come into agreement with God’s plans and purposes for us, for our family, for our nation! Our trust is not in political events; our trust is in God who has a plan and purpose. We must come into agreement with His plans and purposes. God’s intention is not that we only become participants but that we become agents by which He exercises His authority and brings His plans to fulfilment.

Daniel was in prayer for God’s people who were in captivity in Babylon. He read the prophecy that came through Jeremiah. For thus says the Lord, ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfil My good word to you, to bring you back to this place’ (Jer. 29:10). (Multiple prophecies have come over South Africa and over individual lives where God has made promises). Daniel did not just wait passively for the promise to come to pass. He prayed actively for their fulfilment (Dan. 9). He not only participated, he became an agent though which that prophecy was fulfilled. What is it that God is saying to you and me? We must become agents of the finished works of Calvary. We must come into the frequency of the supernatural by coming into agreement with the God who is Love.

God spoke to the church in Ephesus (Rev. 2:4) and said they had abandoned their first love. Where is our first love? In our heart, in our spirit! “But I have this against you: you have abandoned the passionate love you had for me at the beginning.…… The one whose heart is open let him listen carefully to what the Spirit is saying now to all the churches. To the one who overcomes will give access to feast on the fruit of the Tree of Life that is found in the paradise of God” (Rev. 2:4-7 TPT).

Do you remember your born-again experience? Do you remember when God arrested you? What was your first response, the first discovery you made about yourself? It was your love for God; that childlike love for the Lord. So many of us as we advance spiritually, we grow and we become more mature, but we lose something. It is that first love. I believe the Holy Spirit is standing at the door knocking. But the handle is on the inside. Only you and I can open that door so that first love can return. We cannot advance to the levels that are beckoning at the moment without that first love, agape love. That will release the frequency of the supernatural. It will be the frequency of God’s love. There are many things that are beckoning. Let us first sort out the first love, the first gate; that is where the glory of God is effective. How do we affect the world? It has to start with love. How will we release the very promises of God for this nation? We have to come into agreement on that same frequency that will bring release because we become not only participators but also agents through which God will make true every promise over South Africa.
