In order to be authentic salt, light, and authentic kingdom leaven in society in our times, we need to remove the word “Christian” as an adjective which we often use in our efforts to influence society.

First of all, we need to make sure about our foundations as authentic Christians. We need a revelation of the finished works of Jesus, the once for all sacrifice and what it means. Humanity was guilty of sin by the fall of Adam but we have been reconciled to God through Christ. God dealt with the sin of mankind in Jesus. Jesus, who knew no sin, became sin so that we could become the righteousness (more…)

Your embassy will protect you if times of trouble arise when you are in a foreign nation. They represent your nation in a foreign country. Jesus was sent from the Father to this earth with a tremendous mission and mandate upon Him. It was to represent the Father, the government that sent Him and to reflect and glorify the Father. Though He had the privilege to call on legions of angels anytime; to call for supernatural invasions, He chose not to. We as believers are called to represent Jesus on this earth, the Firstborn, the pattern Son. We are given a mandate to be His ambassadors. Whenever a church loses that vision, it goes into all sorts of other activities, programs and loses its real focus. (more…)

Revivals by definition come and go. True seasons of refreshing impact the surrounding cultures; they cannot be contained, managed or abused. There have been genuine visitations from God in past years, where people were touched in the streets and even on their fishing boats in the ocean without anybody preaching to them! These were genuine “seasons of refreshing”; times of “rain from heaven”. (more…)

Long before people look at your face, they feel what is in your spirit; they feel what kind of energy you carry, positive or negative. The spiritual man in us should be charged by God and His word, not by circumstances. What is the first thought that enters your mind when you receive bad news? Why do we mostly expect the worst instead of trusting God? Since we live in a world filled with bad news, we need to know how to handle bad news and still reflect the goodness of God. (more…)
