Gen. 1:1-2, 26-28; Gen. 3:14-15; Gen. 4:1-4; Heb. 4:12; Matt. 13:10-11, 24, 38; John 1:1, 14; Luke 4:3-10; Matt. 8:28-31; 1 John 3:10-12; 1 John 2:18-19; 1 John 4:2; Rom. 16:20; 2 John 1:7; Rev. 22:11; John 17:21

It is not difficult to realize that the world around us is in a chaos of sorts. Every responsible believer in the Church of Jesus Christ should ask himself, “What contribution can the Church bring to address this chaos on so many levels?” This earth belongs to the Lord and the fullness thereof. What do we mean when we pray like this: ‘Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is done in heaven’? God wants to expand His universal reign to include all the earth.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was(became) formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters (Gen. 1:1-2). This is a picture of chaos. The earth became formless and void. (This is not how God created it in the beginning; His creation is always perfect. See John 1:1). The good news is that the Spirit of God was moving (vibrating) over the waters. God’s answer to the chaos was to create a son in His image and likeness who would multiply and rule. (Gen 1:28; Luk 3:38)

Man understood the formula for multiplication and they started filling the earth, but they forgot to rule and chaos soon started increasing. Adam and Eve had the mandate to rule/govern; then the Fall came. After the Fall, the curse followed. To Satan God said, And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel (Gen. 3:15). Here we have the origin of the two seed lines that manifested throughout the Old Testament all the way to Revelation. After they had been banned from the garden, cherubim were placed at the entrance of the garden with flaming swords, not allowing entrance back into the garden. The only entrance back is the Living Word of God, which is like a two-edged sword (Heb 4:12). In the context of Hebrews 4, the way back to the rest of God is through the proceeding Word of God.

The multiplication started after the Fall. Eve gave birth to her firstborn, thinking that this was the fulfillment of Gen 3:15b. But then she named him Cain (Gen. 4:1). The name Cain means “vagabond, fugitive, spirit of antichrist”. Look how far back the spirit of the antichrist started manifesting!

Matt.13 highlights the two seed lines. And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” Jesus answered them, “To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted. The religious order of Jesus’ day did not have the capability of hearing the word of the kingdom.

Whenever the gospel of the kingdom is being proclaimed (=the sower scattering wheat), the enemy has his own agenda. He follows while men are “sleeping” (=no focus or hunger for the Word; only looking for something less confronting) with his own seed bag of darnel which resembles wheat. In His explanation of this parable, Jesus points out that an incarnation has taken place. The good seed (wheat) has now become the sons of the kingdom, and the tares (the Lie) have become the sons of the evil one! Where the lie (which often sounds like the Truth) is believed, it brings forth sons of the evil one. The difference will be very obvious in the time of harvest, when the sons of the evil one will be removed, and the sons of the kingdom will shine forth in the kingdom of their Father! (Matt. 13:37-38). Something has happened between the sowing and the final product. In the case of the wheat, we see that The Word of the kingdom produces sons of the kingdom. (The devastation we see in so many countries today, regardless of many evangelistic crusades over many decades, is the fruit of preaching salvation alone – not the gospel of the kingdom).

Satan will always challenge your identity as he did with Jesus. There are always three categories of temptations; the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). Jesus was tempted in all three areas. After Jesus fasted 40 days, Satan came to Him and challenged His identity. If You are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” And Jesus answered him, “It is written ..” Twice he hears the response of Jesus, “it is written”, and the third time Satan said, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here; for it is written…” What was different when Satan also said “It is written? Jesus didn’t just say, “It is written” but what He was actually saying is, “Look at Me, I am that Word made flesh.” Then Satan left Him. Satan is going to challenge sonship to the very end. He is scared of sonship. Once he knew who Jesus was, he no longer challenged Jesus’ identity, but rather cried out, “What business do we have with each other, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” (Matt. 8:28-31).

John in his epistles, points out that the spirit of antichrist had been active in the earth since the days of the early church. If any apostle in the Bible had a revelation of the Word made flesh, it is this apostle. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God…and every spirit that does not… is the spirit of the antichrist (1 John 4:2,3). On the cross, Satan, the ruler of this world, was judged (Jn 16:11). Now is the time when the God of peace will crushSatan under feet of the Corporate Son (Rom.16:20). True sonship means being secure in your identity – having the same DNA as Christ (Rom 8:29). It is not enough to only believe that Jesus came in the flesh 2000 years ago. For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist (2 John 1:7). As coming! It’s happening again, this time in the Corporate Son. He is the First born and will present to the Father a harvest of sons!(Ephes 1:5; Heb 2:10).

When the Corporate Son is raised in the earth, the chaos in the world will be addressed. That they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me  (John 17:21). The world will only respond when they see the Corporate Son in the earth again (Rom 8:19).

Why is this so important? Because this Corporate Son is the glory of the Father. The time is coming when Jesus is going to hand the kingdom back to the Father and the Father will fill all in all.

Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy (Rev. 22:11).
