United Pursuit is a true ensemble, made up of a group of seriously talented singers, instrumentalists and songwriters. If you’re unfamiliar with their sound, their genre is something along the lines of ‘Christian Indie Folk’. The band come from Knoxville, Tennessee, and have been compared to the well-known worship band Bethel Music Ensemble. Originally, the band started as back-up to some of the lead singers in the group (such as Will Reagan and Andrea Marie), but over time they became truly merged and have strengthened as they have honed a more unified sound.
Simple Gospel
Simple Gospel is the band’s second album, and is a testament to how strong they have grown as a collective. The album as a whole offers a passionate, inspiring take on modern worship that proves impossible not to sing along to. Holistically, the album achieves an incredible balance of raw worship with finely crafted musical finesse that results in a truly spirit-filled honouring of our almighty God. United Pursuit are a fresh of breath air and their latest release definitely worth playing in your car (on full volume) and will be a great addition to any worship team’s line-up.

Songs of Note
Head to the Heart – if you love that ‘big choir’ sound, this song will blow your mind. It’s rich and powerful and ridiculously catchy.
Your Love Changes Everything –this song is a beautiful cry of longing for a deeper relationship with our God. Hugely emotive, this song is an excellent addition to any worship team’s repertoire.
Hidden – Will Reagan’s vocals really carry the last song on the album. Gentle, inspiring and personal.
