Last week we returned from the Open Heaven Apostolic Summit hosted in Durban by Dr. Sagie Govender (ABC Ministries) and Neta Du Plessis (Lighthouse Ministries). With the winter months upon us it wasn’t hard to convince a few of our number to join us for this year’s conference.

The conference kicked off with a bang on Tuesday morning and continued through to the final session on Thursday night. Some of those speaking at the conference included Dr. Sagie Govender, Thamo Naidoo, Frans Du Plessis Jr,  Netta Du Plessis and our very own Kobus Swart. Each of the speakers brought a unique message which culminated in a thorough examination of the modern church’s effort to be arranged according to God’s intended design.

Needless to say, we all felt extremely challenged and encouraged by this year’s lineup. Though the conference may be over, we definitely have plenty to go and study following our time in Durban.
