(Gen. 3:9); Ps. 139:14-16; Jer. 1:5; Ps. 40:7-8; Eph. 2:10 – AMPC; (Ps. 42:7); Rom. 8:28; Acts 7:54-60; Acts 8:1-3; Acts 9:1-6, 15-16; 2 Tim. 4:6; 2 Tim. 4:8 TPT; Matt. 6:10

What was the first thing God said to Adam and Eve when they fell? They ate from the tree they were not supposed to eat from – the D.I.Y. “do it yourself” tree. Satan will always tempt us to eat from the D.I.Y. tree. God’s first question to Adam and Eve was, “Where are you?” (Gen. 3:9). God was interested in a relationship with them in spite of what happened. God is asking us right now, “Where are you?” This means where are you on your journey… and your relationship with God?

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth; Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in our book (scroll) were all written The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them (Ps. 139:14-16). The scroll is not a physical article in heaven, but it is a spiritual reality. Do not let satan steal even an hour of what was ordained for you. Live the full scroll that God ordained for you, connected to Divine purpose. Before I was born, God knew me and had a plan for my life. Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you (Jer. 1:5). Are you connected? Then I said, “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart” (Ps. 40:7-8). For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live] (Eph. 2:10 AMPC). Listen to God’s question: Where are you?

“We must purposely live for the unravelling of our scroll. Don’t be content until you see it and are living according to it. Don’t settle for second best. Nothing half-hearted – totally committed to your destiny” (Parsons). What God requires of us is to co-operate with what He predestined beforehand for us to walk in.

Wanting to “live your dream” has become a motivational speaker’s favourite statement. Where does your dream come from? Who influenced you? What motivated you? Rather be connected to God’s Masterplan for your life; deep is calling to deep (Ps. 42:7). There is a fresh sound released in the earth and it is a frequency. It takes a while to get onto that wavelength. Then suddenly you hear things you have never heard before. You hear truths in a way you have never heard them before.

Do not let your past influence your future. All of us have a history. Let it work together for good as you stay connected to God’s divine purpose. Religion will always put you under condemnation because of your past and put you under sin consciousness where you battle sin, and battle the devil, while he is already conquered by the finished work of Jesus.

Choose what God has prepared for you. Only then will you find fulfilment. True fulfilment will only come when you are connected to what God has fore-ordained for you to walk in. It does not mean everything will be smooth but if you are connected to His divine purpose, He will make all things work together for good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom. 8:28). Love God will all your heart and stay connected to Divine purpose.

Look at what Paul (Saul) was busy with when God arrested him: persecuting the Church, threatening them with murder! (Acts 7:54-60; Acts 8:1-3; Acts 9:1-2) However, before Saul was even shaped in his mother’s womb, God had a plan for him. Paul was arrested by God to connect him with his predestined plan (Acts 9:3-9). God has a plan for each one of us! Come into alignment! Stop chasing other dreams and ambitions. At the end of his journey, Paul came to a place in his life, where he could say, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith! Then he also added this: “There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me, and I know that my Lord will reward me on his day of righteous judgment. And this crown is not only waiting for me, but for all who love and long for his unveiling (2 Tim. 4:8 .TPT). This is not talking about the “rapture”, but about His unveiling. All creation is waiting for the unveiling for the Son of God in the sons! We have to come into alignment with His plan. This is going to happen to all those who long for His unveiling. Where are we? The whole of creation is waiting for the Church of Jesus Christ to become fully connected to His calling and divine purpose. Then we will begin to live by the power of the future now!

We have grown up with the idea of heaven and hell – heaven being way up there and hell somewhere down there.. No, heaven is right here, another dimension. Jesus taught us to pray, proclaiming, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven!” (Matt. 6:10). So, earth and heaven must come into alignment in us, as it was in Jesus Himself. He was in heaven on earth (John 3:13).
