As we near the end of the year and look ahead at the oncoming new year, we might feel a sense of renewed hope at the thought of putting 2020 behind us for good. And although we cannot ensure that life will suddenly be different, we can ensure that our minds are set on the purposes of God. In doing so, despite what the new year holds, we ensure our own forward momentum towards that which we have been called in Christ Jesus. Therefore, if our minds have not been captivated by the plan of God, we become vulnerable to the changing conditions in the world, which ultimately leads to stagnation. Here we examine how we hold on to our focus, and ensure that our minds are set on the unshakable work of God in our lives.
