God, who is LOVE, is busy building His house. Jesus said: ” If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him, and make Our abode with him.”  What we have to keep in mind, is that the living stones that are being placed in His Temple, have been (and are being) chosen in the furnace of affliction. For those whom the Lord loves, He disciplines, and He scourges every son whom He receives. (Hebr. 12:6). The quality of these living stones is described in Isaiah 66:2. “But to this one I will look, to him who is humble and contrite in of spirit, and who trembles at My word.” As in the case of Job, God can use the devil as an instrument to test us in the process of this essential action needed to shape us as living stones being built up as a spiritual house.
