Having become a New Creation in Christ

It is important to remember, that Christ – the LAST Adam – offered ONE sacrifice for sins for ALL time. One died for all, therefore ALL died. Therefore, from the resurrection of Christ we no longer recognize any man according to the flesh. Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a NEW creation (2 Cor. 5:17)!
This truth is based on the last words from Jesus upon the Cross just before He breathed His last: IT IS FINISHED! In His divine power He has granted us EVERYTHING pertaining to life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3,4). In Christ we have all been co-crucified, co-buried, co-quickened from death, and co-seated with Christ in heavenly places! Remember, that we have been chosen IN HIM before the foundation of the world ( Ephes.1:4).
For the anxious longing of creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. SONSHIP is believing what we already have. Stay away from dead works! Our old identity has been crucified with Christ, and no longer lives. However, if any man builds upon this foundation of truth with wood, hay or straw, each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it, because it is to be revealed with fire. If any man’s work is burned up, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through fire! (1 Cor. 3:11-15).
