What Is A Hero

A true hero is one shaped by humility, obedience, courage, and faith, not outward strength or fame, using Jesus Christ as the ultimate example and David’s defeat of Goliath as the biblical illustration. Contrasting worldly superheroes with real-life champions, believers are urged to become an “Ishbanahu” — one who fills the gap when others step back — in family, church, workplace, and community. Through the HEROES acronym (Honour, Excellence, Responsibility, Order, Expectation, Servanthood), personal stories, and calls to stand against intimidation, we are challenged to step forward in faith, trusting God to do the extraordinary through ordinary people willing to answer the call.
