In Mark 10:46–52, the story of blind Bartimaeus reveals that true faith is not about status or formulas, but about coming to Jesus with humble dependence and a clear recognition of who He is. While others misunderstand or approach with entitlement, Bartimaeus cries out for mercy, trusts in Jesus, and is not only healed but transformed into a follower, showing that genuine faith always leads to surrendered discipleship.
