Great Gain

Godliness with contentment is great gain according to 1 Timothy 6:6. Godliness springs solely from Jesus Christ and must be trained through Scripture and a diligent walk with Him. Contentment’s secret, revealed in Philippians 4, is relying on Christ’s strength in every situation. This combination yields true gain: an unencumbered life free from material distraction, ready to serve as salt and light. Reject self-reliance, complacency, or seeking godliness for worldly profit; instead abide in the Lord and trust His perfect timing.
