The gospel that has been preached over many years, has drifted away from the simplicity that it was meant to be. Layers of religion have built up around our understanding and hearing over the years. The Gospel – with special reference to the finished works of Christ (what really happened at the cross) – needs to be proclaimed with greater clarity. Many “uncircumcised” are ready to embrace the truth.
We need to help people to correctly interpret what is happening to them in their daily lives. God original plan is still His ultimate intention! That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. God knew what he was doing from the very beginning. (Rom. 8:28-29 Msg). Unless we believe that we are called we will be a play ball in Satan’s hands.

The Tsunami wave that was fully released 2000 years ago with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, has not fully crested yet! As we celebrate Passover, I want to dedicate this Word to the Pioneer/Author of our salvation. If the depth of what is contained in, especially Romans 5, had been fully assimilated by the church over the years, not only the church, but also the world, would have been a different place today. The earth is in travail, waiting for the manifestation of the mature church, the sons of God.

There is a fresh level of understanding required to receive the proceeding word that is coming now. This will require the renewal of the spirit of the mind. When Mary was told that she would fall pregnant by the Holy Spirit, as a virgin she did not understand this message at first. When the pregnancy began to show, however, she caught up (in her understanding). We are not just collecting new truths and principles mentally.

That which has been is now, that which is to be has already been and God requires that which is past. ‘I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.’ ‘That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past’ (Eccl. 3:14-15).
God finished us before He ever got started.

The invisible God decided to become visible in Jesus Christ the First Born – the pioneer of our salvation; He was the Word made flesh. There is a corporate son that is busy following in His footsteps; He came to bring many sons to glory. God will become visible again in the corporate son.

God never called me to run the race by myself; I am not individualistic in that sense. I have committed myself to be a corporate man. I have this prayer before the Lord for a corporate baptism.
Rivers of Living Water will flow from our innermost beings but there is something that must still happen, similar to the events in Acts 2, where there was a sovereign immersion of a corporate group that were immersed in the Spirit of God. When they came out of that experience they became world changers.

The way you see the future impacts the way you live in the present. Eschatology is not a hobby for some but it is a part of what is happening to the Christian community. Christianity is eschatology in action.
The original Greek in the New Testament contains six different words – all referring in some way to the “second coming”. In most cases these Greek words have simply been translated as “coming”.

Truth doesn’t stop growing; it is never stagnant. We easily get locked into past ways of understanding and this can prevent us from progressively experiencing more of God’s word in our lives. Here is another paradigm shift that can be described in this way: We are moving from doing to becoming. There is nothing wrong with doing – as long as the ‘doing’ follows that which has become a reality inside of us; otherwise it is religious dead works. Once we have become, the doing will be so much more effective, with so much less human energy.

So often we still fall for the temptation to put on yesterday’s armour; it feels “comfortable” – that which used to work! At Saul’s suggestion, David tried the old armour, but soon threw it off. We have to identify that which used to work in previous seasons. Throw it off, otherwise you will remain trapped under the thinking patterns of yesterday. As the mantle fell upon Joshua to lead the people of God into the Land of Promise, he had to go through a major paradigm shift. The people who continued to function under an “I am saved” mindset in the wilderness, all perished.
